THE POLYFLOOR, Elastogel and Fusion forced a four-way tie at the top of the standings after they logged in convincing wins in the Architects + Engineers Basketball Association 1st Davies Cup last Saturday at the University of San Carlos gym.

Fusion proved to be the most dominant on that evening as they manhandled Acreex, 95-53, behind the 24-point performance of point guard Ed Macasling.

Kevin Murillo added 14 while Julius Orit pitched in 13 in a game that got blown wide open in the third when Fusion outscored their opponents, 25-9. Neil Benedicto added 10 markers and eight boards.

Polyfloor also came away as winners as they routed previously unbeaten Stay Clean, 75-59, as Loreniel Tequin exploded for 23 markers, 11 rebounds, five assists and two blocked shots.

Elastogel also kept Aqua Gloss winless with a 70-55 victory that was anchored on the 20 markers of Ronald Lim.

Fusion, Elastogel, Polyfloor and Stay Clean all share the lead with similar 2-1 (win-loss) records. Acreex currently totes a 1-2 mark while Aqua Gloss is bringing the rear at 0-3.
