Baduel is Toastmasters’ new president

LAWYER Dodong Baduel is the 50th president of Cebu Toastmasters Club.

The Cebu Toastmasters Club held its 50th installation of club officers and new members for 2015-2016 yesterday at the Casino Español de Cebu.

Baduel will lead the inductees, together with lawyer Nolie Espina, vice president-education; Engr. Vic Vosotros, vice president-membership; Mayen Tan

and lawyer Eddie Barrita, vice presidents-public relations; retired executive labor arbiter Rey Belarmino, secretary;  retired regional trial court Judge

Benjie Cobarde, treasurer; Lau Rogero and lawyer Jerome Abayon, sergeants-at-arms; and lawyer Glen Condor, immediate past president.

Hyacinth Jade “Chin” Malaca, third placer in the 2015 District 75 international speech contest in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, will be the toastmaster of the evening, with the theme, “Gold Label.”
