Two Korean divers found alive in Camotes Island, 1 still missing

Two of the three Koreans who were reported missing after a dive near the waters of Punta Engaño, Lapu-Lapu City last Sunday noon were found alive off San Francisco, Camotes island, Tuesday afternoon.

At 4:30 p.m., the search and rescue operations were called off after Andy Berame, deputy officer of the Lapu-Lapu City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, received information that Baek Seung Kyoon, 34, and Kim Eun, 31 were found by fishermen.

A Philippine Navy Boat is sent to the area to look for Heo Seung Yung who is still missing as of 9:11 p.m., Tuesday.

The three were technical divers. The two drifted away from Punta Engaño since Sunday noon due to huge waves and strong water current.
