THE British Embassy is encouraging Dumagueteños to apply for the prestigious Chevening Scholarships for the school year 2016-2017.
Chevening Scholarships are awarded to individuals with strong academic background who also have demonstrable leadership potential.
The scholarship offers financial support to study for a Master’s degree at any of the United Kingdom’s leading universities.
British Chargé d´ Affaires Stephen Lysaght said they are looking for a diverse group of exceptional individuals from all parts of the country, “so we are inviting all Dumagueteños to apply.”
Applications for Chevening Scholarships must be submitted online between Aug. 3 and Nov. 3, 2015 at www.chevening.org.
