Rama announces candidates in party lineup

Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama announced the initial lineup of candidates under his wing in next year’s elections.

He named the candidates under his political alliance, Partidong Panaghiusa sa Panerbisyo, Tungod sa Gugma – Team Rama, United Nationalist Alliance (PPP, TSG – TR-UNA).

Among them are Cebu City Councilor Gerry Carillo who will run for a congressional seat in the Cebu City south district and former city mayor Alvin Garcia who eyes the north congressional position.

Former councilor James Cuenco, Councilors Hanz Abella and Dave Tumulak, Renato Osmeña will run for councilors in the south district while Councilors Mary Ann de los Santos, Noel Wenceslao and former Sambag 1 barangay chairman Jerry Guardo will run for the council seats in the north district.

Rama said more names under their political alliance will be revealed soon.
The mayor was appointed as the regional coordinator for the UNA party while former congressman Cuenco was chosen as chairman emeritus for the local party.
