For the entire month of August, Cebu takes centerstage as popular cooking show Curiosity Got the Chef (on Lifestyle Network, Channel 601 on SkyCable) does a foodtrip episode in our neck of the woods.
I was honored to take Chef Sharwin Tee to my favorite dining destinations in the metro, and even beyond. Our first meal fittingly, was a boodle feast on Be Resorts Mactan’s signature Boodle on The Boat package, the perfect four-hour adventure that combines a meal and a trip to two island destinations!
The Cebuano-owned resort was also the host of the entire team for their three-day shoot, treating us to the best accommodations and interesting food packages. In fact, in the episode, the fitting last stop was at the resort’s Be Bonfire Fridays, where we all popped Chef Sharwin’s ngohiong cherry. I’m glad Be’s version of the vegetarian treat, included in their popular Pongko-Pongko package, was as good as we hyped.
