Mutya ng Pilipinas winners to guest in APEC event

Winners of the Mutya ng Pilipinas 2015 are in Cebu to attend one of the events scheduled in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meetings as part of their duties to promote Philippine tourism.

In a press conference at the newly opened Big Hotel, Laren Mae Bautista of Laguna province, a Mutya ng Pilipinas-Asia Pacific International titlist, said they have visited tourist destinations in Palawan, Iloilo City, Bacolod City and Davao City in the past weeks.

Janela Joy Cuaton of Doha Qatar and a Mutya ng Pilipinas-Tourism International, said Davao City is peaceful and  that she loves to party in Cebu.

Other Mutya ng Pilipinas winners in attendance were Nina Josie Robertson of Australia who was crowned Mutya ng Pilipinas-Overseas Communities, Mutya ng Pilipinas 1st Runner-up Julee Ann Marie Bourgoin of Cagayan De Oro, Mutya ng Pilipinas 2nd Runner-up Brenna Cassandra Gamboa of Nueva Ecija and Mutya ng Pilipinas-Viva Discovery of the Year Hershey Gajudo of Cebu City.

The candidates said they would help promote the Philippines through  social media, events and appearances in local and international beauty pageants.
