Omega Boxing Gym’s reigning World Boxing Federation (WBF) Asia Pacific Super bantamweight champion Jhack “Golden Boy” Tepora will put his unblemished record at stake when he faces journeyman Jason Egera on Sept. 12 in Sabang, Danao City, northern Cebu.

Tepora, the younger brother of veteran boxing trainer Christopher “Ping ping” Tepora, holds a record of 14-0 (win-loss) with 10 wins by knockouts while Egera has a record of 21-14 with 10 knockout victories.

While the 22-year-old Tepora won twice this year via dominating performances, Egera is struggling as of late, losing six consecutive bouts since 2013.

Rodel Wenceslao (9-11-1, 3KOs) of Joerick Stable and Weng Haya (17-8, 9KOs) of SGG Promotions will battle for the vacant Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) welterweight title in the co-main event.

Tepora’s stable mate Christian Araneta (9-0, 8KOs) will also put his unbeaten record at stake against SGG Promotions’ Jessie Espinas (11-1,7KOs) in the under card.

The rest of the under card will pit Marjun Pantilgan of Big Yellow Stable versus Macmac Baribar of Bohol, Clyde Azarcon against Junjie Bautista, and RR Borbon versus Ryan Culentas.
