The Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. donated P1.58 million to the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation (ERUF) for the construction of a training center at the North Reclamation Area, Cebu City.

“This is another step towards a better community,” said RAFI president Roberto “Bobby” Aboitiz.

The center will provide training for emergency responders.

It “will develop, professionalize and standardize the provision of pre-hospital emergency care for patients needing treatment.”

RAFI chief operating officer Dominica Chua said  the foundation will also  donate an ambulance worth P1.91 million to ERUF.

Chuna praised the foundation for being a “reliable intervener in terms of emergency.”

Dr. Pek Eng Lim, ERUF chairman of the board of trustees,  assured that ERUF  “will continue to do their best.” He Said  ERUF is the only group in the Philippines that is accredited by the US and HongKong as emergency responder.
