Three boys were reported missing yesterday morning after they went fishing in a  paddle boat Sunday morning in barangay Baring in Olango Island.

Their  parents reported to the  Talima Police station at 7 a.m. yesterday after the boys failed to return home.

Two  boys were aged 15 and the other 9.

According to their parents, the boys went out to fish at around 11 a.m. Sunday but never came home.

The parents went out looking for them at sea in a motorized banca but to no avail.

They feared the boys drifted out to sea with the strong winds and big waves caused by typhoon Lando.

Search and rescue operations were launched by the Philippine Coast Guard in Cebu City.
