A POLICEMAN arrested a man whom he caught stealing the cellphone of a woman in barangay Camputhaw, Cebu City last Thursday night.
PO1 Elmer Gonzales was driving a motorcycle on his way to work when he saw a man, who was later identified as Jake Espinosa, snatch the cellphone of a woman on Escario Street.
Espinosa then boarded a jeepney, prompting the policeman to give chase.
When Espinosa, who is assigned at the Cebu Public Safety Company, caught up with the jeepney, he asked the man to disembark.
The policeman frisked the man and recovered the cellphone owned by Glaiza Tagip, a resident of barangay Busay, Cebu City.
