A DRY run for the Jan. 29 procession of the 51st International Eucharistic Congress (IEC) will be held starting at 4 am tomorrow.

Rey Gealon, Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO) chief, said the procession route starts at the Capitol, Escario Street area then proceeds towards Plaza Independencia and then winds up at MJ Cuenco Avenue.

Gealon said they approved the IEC committee’s request made through its chairman Msgr. Marnell Mejia to hold a dry run for the procession. Gealon said their 20 personnel will regulate traffic in the area.

“Rest assured, this activity will not, in any way, contribute to the rush hour traffic,” he said.
