Medical mission set in Carcar, Danao

IN its bid to help the underprivileged patients, the Philippine College of Surgeons will conduct a medical mission in Carcar City on Feb. 8 to 11 and in Danao City on Feb. 15-18.

The cases that will be handled include breast mass, hernia repair, thyroidectomy, hysterectomy, appendectomy, among others.

Interested parties are advised to register at the Cebu Provincial Hospitals in Carcar and Danao for the pre-operation screening.

Patients may also call the secretary of the Philippine College of Surgeons-Cebu Chapter Miriam Callet at (0917) 3248046 or Dr. Peter Mancao at (0917) 3273837 for more information.

The Philippine College of Surgeons-Cebu Chapter led by its president Dr. Marilou Viray sponsors the undertaking.

Aside from the surgical mission, an optical-dental mission will also be conducted on those dates. Medicines and services are free.

All Cebuanos are encouraged to avail of this opportunity.
