Daniel Matsunaga : Happy with career and lovelife

“PINOY Big Brother All In” Grand Winner Daniel Matsunaga is happily working with girlfriend Erich Gonzales in their new teleserye “Be My Lady” on ABS-CBN.

Matsunaga told the local media during the Citizen Watch Store grand opening at SM City Cebu last week that they are blessed to have a show together.

“This is an opportunity to spend time together. Time is the most valued and precious gift in a relationship,” he said.

He said that a lot of people don’t believe that they don’t fight. So far, the couple has not encountered any challenges. They take everything as positive in their relationship.

“Mahal ko po si Erich. It’s really about conversation. By putting God as a center of our relationship, everything is all right,” Matsunaga added.

Will DanRich fans hear wedding bells soon? “In God’s time,” Matsunaga answered but said that fans can expect a DanRich film this year.

The real life couple topbills “Be My Lady” which is aired before the noontime show “It’s Showtime,” Gonzales plays Pinang Crisostomo who lives in a province while Matsunaga is Philip Olveira a Brazilian-Japanese who grew up in Singapore.

The set is in Arayat, Pampanga. In its pilot episode, the teleserye got a  19.5 percent rating. Matsunaga said that everyone in the set is positive.

“Lahat kami are helping each other on how to deliver lines and enunciate the words. We are like a family. We help each other and everybody is having fun,” he said.

Matsunaga said  Filipinos can relate to the story as it involves a foreign national (played by Matsunaga) coming over the Philippines.

“For sure maraming Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) ang magiging inspired kasi maganda ang story. All comments that we received about the teleserye are positive,” he added.
