Cancer patients from other provinces in the Visayas and Mindanao do not have to go to Manila to get comprehensive treatment.
Chong Hua Hospital Mandaue and Cancer Center at the Mandaue reclamation area has been accepting patients since January although it will have a formal launching on Feb. 18.
Lawyer Dean Decal, Chong Hua Mandaue hospital administrator, said their facility is like a “one-stop-shop” for patients because of its holistic and integrated cancer care system.
He said the 11-story hospital is initially operating on a 165-bed capacity although it has a total bed capacity 350 .
Aside from the state-of-the-art facilities, the hospital has at least 500 accredited physicians and specialists.
