Amigos FC, Tabor Hills CPMS FC and Leylam FC took the coveted trophies Sunday at the end of the 2016 Cebu International School (CIS) Friendship Cup at the CIS football pitch in Pit-os, Cebu city.

Leylam FC, the reigning 17th Aboitiz Football Cup men’s open champion, took home the inter-company/BPO crown while Amigos FC dominated the men’s open division. Tabor Hills CPMS,  meanwhile, captured the boys’ under-15 crown.

Leylam FC, last year’s men’s open division winner, beat sister squad Leylam FC-2, 1-0, in the inter-company final with Manju Mayormita bagging MVP honors.

In the elimination stage, Leylam FC-1 beat Accenture FC, 1-0, to advance to the final while Leylam FC-2 trounced San Miguel Brewery Inc. B, 2-0.

In the men’s open final, Amigos FC nipped Team Guardo,1-0, with Michael Sharpe winning MVP honors.

In the semis, Amigos FC clipped Hiroshi FC,1-0, while Team Guardo drubbed Birada Filipino FC Team B, 2-0.

Tabor Hills CPMS, on the other hand, dumped Football Kings United of Dumaguete City, 2-1, to rule the boys’ under-15 division.
