Duterte tops UP Cebu mock polls

DAVAO City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte may be elected president if the elections were held today based on a mock survey done by the University of the Philippines-Cebu held ahead of the 5 p.m. presidential debate.

As of 2pm, Duterte received at least 150 red stamps from the spectators now gathered at the UP-Cebu grounds, mostly students.

Sen. Miriam Santiago ranks second place with 60 stamps followed by Vice President Jejomar Binay with 18; Senator Grace Poe with 14 and Mar Roxas with seven.

Voting is held close to the area where standees of the five presidential candidates were also set up.

Attendees who vote have their photos taken with the standees and post the photo on their Facebook or Twitter accounts with the the hashtag “#BilangPilipino” get white event t-shirts by organizers.
