Motorists and commuters complained about the closure of some roads in Mandaue City for the Panagtagbo Festival this afternoon.

Drivers of public utility vehicles and motorists said they were not notified in advance about the rerouting plans. Sotero B. Cabahug Street to AC Cortes Street is closed starting at 4 pm.

It resulted to heavy traffic congestion along M.C. Briones Street up to A. del Rosario St.

The Panagtagbo Festival street dancing started at past 4 p.m. today. The grand showdown will start at 8 p.m. at the Mandaue City Sports and Cultural Center.
