Warriors finish off Rockets; Blazers take 3-2 lead

The Golden State Warriors crushed the Houston Rockets, 114-81, in Game 5 to advance to the Western Conference Semis.

Klay Thompson was the leading scorer for the defending champions with 27 points and three rebounds.

Meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers took a 3-2 lead in their Western Conference series as they defeated the undermanned L.A. Clippers, 108-98 in Game 5.

CJ McCollum had 27 points for the Blazers.
