TEAM Joeric Boxing’s Rodel Wenceslao had his winning streak snapped after losing to Adones Cabalquinto in the main event of the “Blow by Blow Reloaded” at the Almendras Gymnasium in Davao City last Saturday evening.

Wenceslao, who had won three successive bouts before the loss, lost this non-title bout to the more experienced Cabalquinto by unanimous decision.

With the loss, the 23-year-old Leyte-native Wenceslao who represents the Mandaue-based Team Joeric Boxing of boxing patron Joeric Calisang, dropped to 11-12-0 (win-loss-draw).

Cabalquinto, a former Philippine Super-lightweight champion and former WBC Asian Boxing Council Super-lightweight champion improved his record to 23-1-0 with 15 wins by knockout. He now has won three straight bouts.

His only loss was against Al Rivera, who knockout him out in a non-title bout held in Metro Manila last year.
