LABANGON, Tejero and City Central School dancers put up good performances in the fifth leg of Cebu City Sports Commission’s weekly dancesports barangay circuit competition at the Guadalupe Barangay Hall.

This after the three teams snared two golds apiece in the 11-day competition.

Ryan Bacalla and Princess Arevalo of Labangon topped the Junior Latin Close 3 dance. Bacalla also paired up with Keshly Montero to capture the gold in the Junior Latin Open 3 competition.

Tejero swept the Close 3 and Open 3 dances in the Youth Latin category courtesy of the pairs of Joshua Caleb Saad and Jubilyn Sabino and Clarence Regis with Sandra Ebuna, respectively.

City Central School and Guadalupe also collected golds in the special events.

Guadalupe’s Ronald and Jennifer Lamberte triumphed in the Both Parents Close Latin 2 while City Central’s father-daughter tandem of John and Jessica Quilaton won the Parents Children Close Latin 2 dance. City Central’s Trixie Dicdican and Dexter Pilapil Jr. bagged the gold in the Juvenile Latin Close 3.

The sixth leg will be held next Saturday at Brgy. Lahug. Cebu City Acting Mayor Margot Osmeña also graced the event.
