Overlimit Jiu jitsu Academy tops Dumau Jiu-jitsu International Open

THE VISITING Overlimit Jiu jitsu Academy lorded last Saturday’s Dumau Jiu-jitsu International Open held at the Trade Hall of SM City Cebu.

The team finished with nine gold medals, including the coveted masters’ medium division courtesy of black belt Leandro Kussano of Brazil. Japanese blue belt Matheus Onda topped the featherweight class.

Cebuano members of Overlimit Jiu jitsu Andrei Cuizon and Jason Mondigo won a gold medal each for the team. Other gold medalists for Overlimit were Luiz Takayama, Robert Andrade, Mofa

Team Deftac Rebeiro finished second after winning seven gold medals. Leading the team’s gold medal haul was Maria Asia Ratcliff, who bagged two gold medals.
