RUMORS have been circulating online speculating that Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo is pregnant prompting her cancelled events.
The talks quickly escalated after she was pulled out from the lineup of local artists for the MTV Music Evolution Manila 2016, organized by MTV Asia in collaboration with the Philippines Tourism Promotion Board due to “medical reasons,” Sarah refused to elaborate.
She also had to leave The Voice Philippines Kids, refusing to mentor this season and was replaced by Mega star Sharon Cuneta.
The 27-year-old singer performer in an earlier ABS-CBN interview said that she had to take a month break from work to address some health concerns but had yet to comment on the speculations that she is pregnant.
Her boyfriend Matteo Guidicelli, who heard about the rumors vehemently denied Geronimo’s alleged pregnancy.
In an ABS-CBN interview, the actor insisted that there is no truth to the rumors.
“Nakarating nga sa kin ‘yung balita and buntis daw siya. That’s not true at all,” he said.
According to Guidicelli, Geronimo has been feeling bad the past few weeks but her illness is nothing serious and his girlfriend only needs to rest.
Meanwhile, Vic del Rosario, Viva Entertainment chairman, who first denied the rumors said that the idea of Geronimo getting pregnant is absurd since the singer-actress is still a virgin.
