President Rodrigo Duterte declared July 6 as a non-working holiday to give way for the annual observance of the Muslim holiday Eid’l Fitr.

The Eid’l Fitr marks the end of Ramadhan and the completion of fasting for Muslims who celebrate by visiting their families and relatives.

Bianito Dagatan, Department of Education-Cebu City Division Superintendent, said they have not yet released an official advisory in Cebu City.

“Not yet (issued advisory). We have to wait for the copy of the Executive Order from Malacañan,” he said.
