One of Michael Cinco’s designs showcased at Paris Fashion Week.
FILIPINO designer Michael Cinco continues to make waves in the international fashion scene as he showcased his creations Haute Couture during the Paris Fashion Week at L’ Orangerie Ephmre in Le Jardin des Tuileries last July 3.
The Dubai-based designer’s collection was composed of 30 couture dresses adorned with pearls, sequins and micro beads sewn by hand.
His designs were part of COUTURiSSIMO, “an online fashion brand which taps exceptional designers to create couture-inspired pieces at ready-to-wear prices.
Michael said the flowers of Jardin des Tuileries inspired him for the beautiful pieces he made, which are now all available and can be pre-ordered online through www. COUTURiSSIMO.com.
He described his experience as a dream come true, on his interview with The National.
“I cried a little before and after the show. The entire process has been such an emotional journey for me. I’m so thankful for such a humbling opportunity,” he shared.
Cinco’s creations have been worn by celebrities such as Kylie Minogue, Jennifer Lopez, Mila Kunis, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Nicole Scherzinger.
In the local scene, he designed the stunning wedding gown of actress Marian Rivera as well as Julia Barretto’s ball gown for her debut.
