SUPT. Joel Quintero was recently named the new chief of the Regional Special Operations Group (RSOG) and the Regional Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force (RAIDSOTF).

Quintero, who was formerly assigned at the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Cagayan Valley, will lead a new batch of operatives after Chief Supt. Noli Taliño dismantled and ordered the relief of all 67 operatives of the two special police units last July 12, saying they need to try other police units.

Quintero yesterday said they were still in the process of filling up the personnel to be assigned at the RSOG and RAIDSOTF.
