This year’s grand Sinulog Festival was one for the books. Not one to miss the festivities, Mandani Bay treated Cebuanos, balikbayans, and guests to a myriad of events to celebrate Fiesta Señor.

Balikbayan Day
Cebu’s transformative lifestyle destination, rolled out the red carpet for its Balikbayan Day last January 13 at the Mandani Bay Show Gallery along F. E. Zuellig Avenue, Mandaue City.

Drumrolls and the Sinulog beat led the guests to the Show Gallery from 2 PM to sundown. Filipinos returning from overseas (balikbayans) were treated to the traditional Sinulog street dance, a buffet of native delicacies and scrumptious Cebu lechon.

A spectacular view of the Fluvial Procession
As the miraculous image of the Sto. Niño was transported through the Mactan Channel on January 20 during the much-anticipated fluvial procession, many watched the surreal annual spectacle from the Mandani Bay Boardwalk.

When the gates opened at 4:30 AM, Sinulog street dancing, drum beaters and songs engaged guests as everyone waited for the procession to pass through.

Mandani Bay is Cebu’s most promising development. With a 500-meter water frontage facing the Mactan Channel, this world-class 20-hectare development has a stunning view of the coast and encompassing cityscape.
