Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino ‘We Will Not Die Tonight’

MOVIEGOERS will see a different side of Kapamilya star Erich Gonzales as she headlines the survival action movie, “We Will Not Die Tonight.”

The movie is an official entry of this year’s Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP) and is written and directed by Richard Somes.

Gonzales portrays the character of Kray, a stuntwoman and an aspiring actress.

The full trailer begins with Kray running away from men riding on motorcycles. Kray fights back. She kicks and punches them.

“Bayaran niyo ako nang tama,” Kray shouts.

One day, she gets reunited with her friends led by Alex Medina.

“Gusto kong buuin ulit ‘yung grupo. Malaking pera ang involved. Makikinabang tayo ang laking pera nito,” Medina tells the group.

The group tries their luck in what they call a “one-time-big-time” gig.

A woman welcome them inside a dark basement.

“Uy, kayo ha. Baka nahihiya lang kayo. Eto full pack tayo dito. Welcome kayo dito. Kung gusto niyong i-try, eto na,” the woman told her.

A man warns them that they are in their territory and they have to play nice so that they can get along.

Kray tells the group that they had to leave thinking it is unsafe. But it is not easy for them to go out as they will be hunted by those men.

“We Will Not Die Tonight” is the first action film and PPP movie of Gonzales. The movie is produced by Straw Dogs Studio, EG Films, and Outpost Visual Frontier.

Other cast members are Thou Reyes, Max Eigenmann, Paolo Paraiso, Jeffrey Tam, Sarah Abad, Jess Mendoza, and Marel Torre.
