CONSOLACION, Cebu — BTS member RM will have limited on-stage participation during their upcoming live comeback performance after sustaining an ankle injury, his agency BigHit Music announced.

“As advised by medical professionals, we have decided to limit RM’s on-stage performance, including choreography,” BigHit Music said.

In a statement released on March 20, the agency said RM suffered the injury during a BTS rehearsal on March 19 and was immediately taken to the hospital for examination and treatment.

Medical findings revealed a sprain of the accessory navicular, a partial ligament tear, and a talus contusion, which included ligament damage and inflammation.

RM has been advised by doctors to wear a cast and strictly limit movement for at least two weeks to focus on recovery.

Meanwhile, BigHit assured fans that the artist will still be on the live comeback and that RM has expressed his commitment to deliver a high-quality performance and engage with their fans, the ARMYs.

BigHit emphasized that the health and safety of its artists remain its top priority and pledged full support for RM’s recovery.
