SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Resort owners in San Felipe, Zambales—renowned for its surfing spots and relaxed coastal vibe—have so far recorded over 10,000 tourists as of Black Saturday, according to partial reports submitted to local tourism authorities.

The municipal tourism office said it is still consolidating reports from resort owners to determine the total number of visitors in San Felipe, and the figure is expected to rise as many operators have yet to submit their data.

It noted that the current count does not yet include guests from San Felipe Resorts Owners Association, a group with more than 150 member-resorts that accommodate tourists in the area.
