Policemen in Central Visayas will soon receive their performance-based bonus (PBB) but the amount will vary according to their individual rating.

The bonus will go to hardworking police units and officers who delivered the best quality of service this year, said Chief Supt. Manuel Gaerlan, acting chief of Police Regional Office Central Visayas (PRO-7).

“Under the criteria, most regional units are assessed as good, better or best. For PRO-7, we were evaluated as one of the best regional unit this year,” said Gaerlan.

The bonus will range from P5,000 to P30,000.

Each police officer is assessed by his immediate head.

Another P5,000 will be given to police officers across the country by the Office of the President as an incentive.

The bonuses will be deposited in their payroll accounts.

Some will receive it through Continuous Form Checks drawn from the Philippine National Police (PNP) account with the state-owned Land Bank of the Philippines.
