THE 7-Eleven Roadbike Philippine Cycling team may make its return with an all-Filipino roster to the Le Tour de Langkawi in Malaysia on Feb. 24 – March 2 this year.

Team manager Bong Sual said that Langkawi organizers require all Asian teams to rely on their respective national riders, but it is still uncertain if the new ruling has been fully implemented.

If  officially applied, the Filipinos may have to replace their two reinforcements, Spaniard Edgar Nieto and Australian Jesse Ewart.

The Filipino riders are still led by 2014 Le Tour de Filipinas winner Mark Galedo and Marcelo Felipe. Cebuano Nelson Martin is also part of the pack.

The Philippines are set to compete again in Langkawi after a 10-year absence.
