The mother of baby Prince Niño plans to attend the Fiesta Señor activities to give thanks for the safe return of the baby.

“I am very thankful to Sto. Niño and Mama Mary because they heard our prayers. Our son was rescued,” said 23-year-old Jayvee Celadenia.

Prince Niño was missing for more than a day after Melissa Londres, a call center agent  pretending to be a nurse, took off with the baby.

After he was reunited with his parents, the family decided to temporarily stay in barangay Tumana, Minglanilla in south Cebu.

Celadenia told Cebu Daily News that they decided to stay with her husband’s parents because they left their eldest son with them when she gave birth at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC).

“My two-year-old son always kisses his little brother. He is very happy to see him. He always looks for him,” the mother said in Cebuano.

Other family members and relatives dropped by  to see the newborn who hogged recent headlines after he was was stolen by a call center agent from the hospital.

The couple has yet to decide on the date of Prince Niño’s baptism.

“Maybe two to three months from now. We still have to talk about that,” she added.

Jonathan, the 27-year-old father who works as a merchandiser, plans to go back to work on Monday.

Jayvee said that her husband wants to spend more time with her and the baby.

Londres intended to use the baby in a ploy to stop her  boyfriend Philip Winfred Almeria  from leaving her.

Londres brought the baby to their rented house in sitio Fatima, barangay Lahug, where police found her Wednesday night.

Both Londres and Almeria are now facing kidnapping charges.
