Lecture on Don Vicente Rama in USC ahead of City Charter Day celebration

A LECTURE on the life and times of Don Vicente Rama was held Tuesday afternoon at the audio visual room of the University of San Carlos main campus in line with the 79th Cebu City Charter Day anniversary on Wednesday this week.

Lawyer Joan Largo, USC Dean School of Law and Governance, gave the lecture that centered on Vicente Rama’s life as a husband and a father to his 13 successful children.

Largo said even before Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau drew global attention for his efforts to form a diverse cabinet, Don Vicente Rama already established success with his family.

“Well, I have news for you, Mr. Prime Minister, the role you are playing in this modern day and age, our beloved Don Vicente Rama already played more than half a century ago, in the lives of his wife and his daughters”, Largo said.

Largo recounted the success of Don Vicente Rama’s children Capt. Laurente Rama, Miguel Rama, Atty. Dario Rama, Fernando Rama, Atty. Jesus Rama, Gov. Osmundo Rama, Atty. Napoleon Rama Clemente Rama, Lourdes Rama, Resurrection Rama-Revillez, Marianella Rama, Reynalda Rama-Poca and Corazon Rama-del Prado
