Police arrested a robbery suspect a few hours after he robbed a taxi driver in Barangay Pagsabungan, Mandaue City last Friday.
Police caught Rafael Limotan after he was seen standing at the side of the road in the barangay with the stolen sling bag owned by Jenecar Senedo, 29, of Quiot Pardo, Cebu City, taxi driver of Milagros Taxi.
Limotan was also caught with a .38 revolver and two packs of suspected shabu.
Senedo said Limotan flagged him along A.S. Fortuna St. in Barangay Banilad, Mandaue City and asked to be brought to Barangay Pagsabungan where he was robbed of his P2,700 earnings, his mobile phone worth P2,000, a $5 bill, 10,000 Indonesian Rupiah.
Police recovered the stolen items except the P2,700 cash.
