A MAN who was implicated in a fatal shooting incident last year was shot dead by motorcycle-riding assailants in Barangay Lorega, Cebu City.
Reggie Magdasal, 25, suffered gunshot wounds in the chest, head and left elbow.
SPO4 Rogelio Cañete, homicide investigator, said police are looking into the possibility that revenge was the motive of the killing.
Magdasal was the suspect in the killing of one Lawrence Joshua Rabor, who was gunned down in October 25 last year, said SPO4 Cañete.
Police said Magdasal was walking with his brother and cousin on their way to buy coconut juice when a motorcycle with two men on board stopped.
The back rider, who wore a gray-hooded jacket and dark glasses, approached the victim and repeatedly shot him.
The gunman returned to the motorcycle and fled.
The victim was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead.
