THE RETOOLED Cebu Dragons Rugby Football Club hopes to get major contributions from its new players as it competes with some of the world’s top teams in the 27th Annual Manila 10’s International Rugby Festival this weekend at the Nomad Sports Club in Parañaque City.

The Dragons acquired the services of Papua New Guinea-natives and University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) products Albert K. Dabi, Napoleon Hodges Ilopa, Oda Oda and John Titos Maro after impressive performances in the tryouts last Monday at the Cebu City Sports Complex.

However, it will be a backbreaking task for the Dragons as they are going up against visiting teams like the Burwood Blues Rugby of Australia, Kraken RC of the United States, USRC Tigers of Hong Kong, Malaysia’s KK Sharks RFC and last year’s runner-up the Alabang Eagles.

The competition is presented by the Manila Nomad Sports Club in cooperation with the Philippine Rugby Football Union.
