April 13,2016 - 05:19 PM

A RESOLUTION to provide water tanks, hoses and other material assistance to farmers affected by the dry spell was approved by the Provincial Board in last Monday’s session.

PB Member Alex Binghay, who authored the resolution, said water shortage had been experienced in areas like Balamban town, whose 10 upland villages have been hit hard by the dry spell.

PB Member Gigi Sanchez-Zaballero said they are waiting on the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) to submit their assessment of the towns in order to determine the assistance to be allocated to them./USJ-R Intern Shiela Gumapon
