THE National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) yesterday seized P15 million worth of pink and blue “cookie monster” ecstasy pills in a raid in Makati City Friday evening.

Arrested in the entrapment operation by the NBI-Anti-llegal Drugs Division (NBI-AIDD) was Dutch national Martin De Fong, alleged distributor of the confiscated illegal drugs.

De Fong was identified by an informant at Rogue’s Bar in Makati as the supplier of ecstasy pills in the area.

Atty. Joel Tovera, head of NBI-AIDD, said De Fong did not resist arrest and volunteered information on the source of the drugs. He also surrendered 5,203 ecstasy tablets being sold for P2,500 each.

Tovera said De Fong revealed that the ecstasy pills are imported from The Netherlands and each shipment contains 50,000 pieces.
