AFTER getting selected as the penultimate pick in this year’s Philippine Superliga (PSL) Draft, Cebuana Marlyn Llagoso is eager to prove that the CIGNAL HD Spikers made a good decision in choosing her.
The 24-year-old Llagoso, a product of the Southwestern University (SWU) Lady Cobras, said she almost thought that her dreams of playing professionally would be shattered after four teams passed up on her.
“I’m really happy because I thought nobody would pick me anymore,” Llagoso said. “I really want to be better. I want to show CIGNAL who Marlyn Llagoso is when it comes to playing volleyball.”
Llagoso is actually trying to hit two birds with one stone as she hopes her stint with CIGNAL would help her earn a spot to the national team.
“It is really a dream for me to be in the National Team,” she added.
