FORMER lovers Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson have already started filming their movie under Star Cinema.
On Instagram, Anderson posted a photo of him with Alonzo and wrote a caption that says, “Anj and Nino,” indicating the names of their characters.
According to pep.ph, the still untitled film will be directed by Dan Villegas, who had also helmed movies like “Always Be My Maybe” starring Anderson and Arci Muñoz.
In Anderson’s Instagram photo, he and Alonzo are in a kitchen. The actor is wearing a white sleeveless sitting on the counter, while Alonzo is clad in a white off-shoulder top.
Alonzo described her character as an an extrovert, a role she has not played for a while, since her team up with John Lloyd Cruz in “Now That I Have You” movie in 2004.
Anderson, for his part, said he will be playing the role of a probinsyano.
According to pep.ph, Alonzo admitted feeling weird about working with her former lover. Agreeing with Alonzo, Anderson said it was surreal to be in movie with Alonzo.
The two dated three months after Anderson and Kim Chiu broke up but theirs was a short-lived romance.
