A NOTORIOUS snatcher responsible for some snatching incidents in Cebu City and Mandaue City was arrested by the police on Monday evening in Barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
Mark Anthony Abad, 29, of Sitio Aroma, Barangay Subangdaku is now detained at the Subangdaku Police Station.
Senior Insp. Narciso Abapo, Chief of Subangdaku Police Station, received a call from a concerned citizen about the presence of Abad on Logarta Street, Barangay Subangdaku. Policemen immediately proceeded to the area and spotted Abad, whose description was earlier described by the caller.
Police confiscated from Abad’s possession an unlicensed .38 revolver with four unused bullets and five small sachets of alleged shabu.
