Macanas and Alanas were part of the Highway Patrol Group of the National Headquarters of the Philippine National Police while Canagnot and Doria were officers from the National Capital Region Police Office.

The outgoing directors will be assigned at the Police Holding and Accounting Unit for the mean time.

During the turn over ceremony, Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7) director Chief Superintendent Noli Taliño urged the new city and provincial directors to stay focus in order to achieve a society free from illegal drugs, criminality, and corruption.

Taliño also asked the heads of the local government units to understand the revamp as it is a part of the police’s effort to maintain peace and security in the area.

The revamp is part of the order of PNP Chief Bato dela Rosa, in line with President Rodrigo Duterte’s vision on initiating major changes in the police force as part of their campaign against illegal drugs./UP Cebu Intern Patrick Byron Gattoc
