DUMAGUETE City’s Edalson Elloren remained calm and composed despite playing in unfamiliar terrain as he went on to win the overall title of the Duraman Off Road Duathlon last Sunday afternoon in Dalaguete town, south Cebu.

The 17-year-old Elloren, who clocked in at one hour, 38 minutes and 12 seconds, outlasted his fellow Dumagueteños Elmer Sojor (1:41:54) and Tomo Klemann (1:46:05), who wound up second and third, respectively.

In the distaff side, Eubhe Regine Abenio was crowned the overall champion after finishing the race in three hours, 23 minutes and 16 seconds.
Abenio bested Cebuana Jade Abellana, who ended up second by clocking at three hours, 37 minutes and 54 seconds.
