BARANGAY Tejero flexed its muscle and won four gold medals in the final leg of the Cebu City Sports Commission’s weekly barangay dancesport circuit competition yesterday at the Cogon Ramos Sports Center.

Also winning golds were Inayawan, Zapatera, Tisa, City Central and the Don Vicente Rama Memorial Elementary School (DVRMES).

The pair of Leonard Morata and Gracelle Bucao won first place for Tejero in the high school latin close dance and also dominated the latin high school open routine.

In the standard category, Derlin Vinluan and Alyssa Ricafort ruled the juvenile 3 dance while Morata teamed up with Axzyl Carticiano to win the youth close competition.

Other winners who will also see action in the Grand Finale slated next week are Paul Noel Juezan and Mary Lady Camba (DVRMES) in the latin juvenile syllabus, John Marvin Acibron and Gillean Marie Calzada (Tisa) in the latin college close, and Jessica Singson and Kharl Michael Miñoza (City Central) in the parent and child special category.
