PHILIPPINE Tennis Association (PHILTA) No. 1 Arthur Craig Pantino lived up to his billing as he dominated Japanese Taiyo Yamanaka, 6-4, 6-2, to remain the only Cebuano netter left in the PSC-PHINMA International Tennis Junior Championships yesterday at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center.

With the victory, the 16-year-old tennis sensation will be taking on another Japanese in Keisuke Saitoh today in the second round.

Earlier in the day, Bogo City’s Jan Godfrey Seno got defeated by Christian Alvin Edison of Indonesia in a three-set thriller, 6-7 (4), 6-1, 6-4, in the opening round.
