CEBU CITY, Philippines — It’s now or never for four teams as the lower bracket playoffs of the Cesafi Esports League (CEL) Season 4 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament fire off this weekend at the newly opened Wildcats PlayLab inside Cebu Institute of Technology–University (CIT-U).

Host squad CIT-U Wildcats will be joined by the Cebu Eastern College (CEC) Dragons, University of Cebu Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue (UCLM) Webmasters, and defending champions University of San Carlos (USC) Vamos Warriors in a do-or-die battle for survival.

CIT-U faces CEC in one of the lower bracket quarterfinal matchups, while UCLM takes on USC in the other pairing scheduled on Saturday.

Winners will advance to the lower bracket semifinals and move a step closer to the lower bracket finals, where a grand finals berth will be at stake.

Awaiting the survivor in the championship round are the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Adelante Warriors and the University of Cebu (UC) Main Webmasters, who will clash in the upper bracket finals on April 25.

Meanwhile, the Valorant tournament will also continue on Sunday, April 18, with USJ-R set to face University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) in one quarterfinal pairing, while USC goes up against UC Main in the other.

The Valorant competition follows the same double-elimination format as the Mobile Legends tournament.
