PROVINCIAL government employees and elected officials will receive a P15,000 anniversary bonus, Cebu Gov. Hilario Davide III announced during the Capitol’s 447th Founding Anniversary Program at the Social Hall Saturday morning.
“Serbisyo lang gayud. Consider this a privilege, kaning atong pagpangalagad. Dili ta magpakaulaw sa katawhan (Just ensure service. Our service, consider this a privilege. Let’s not humiliate ourselves to the people),” Davide said in his anniversary message.
Provincial Treasurer Danilo Rodas said 1,424 Capitol employees and elected official will receive the bonus which is part of a Supplemental Budget submitted by the executive department to the Provincial Board.
Rodas said the PB is expected to act on the proposed SB during their regular session on Monday.
