IS ACTRESS-HOST Eugene Domingo ready to swim in a tank full of sewage again?

This after it was revealed that the cameras have started rolling for the sequel of the critically-acclaimed independent film “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank.”

The part two of the film will be her comeback after some time away from the big screen limelight.

Eugene, who is currently hosting GMA Network’s Dear Uge, an afternoon comedy anthology, has confirmed it to Pep.ph that the sequel is now in the works.

“May greenlight na sa project naming ito … Same director and writer pa rin na sina Direk Marlon Rivera and Chris Martinez,” said Eugene.

Actors JM De Guzman, Kian Cipriano and Cai Cortez will still be in the sequel.

When asked how would the sequel go, Eugene gave hints that it will pick up from the first movie’s last scene–the part where she swam in a septic tank.

“Mag-uusap pa kami sa magiging takbo ng kwento … Kasi nga ‘yung ending ng “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank” nahulog ako sa septic tank, di ba? Kaya we might pick it up from here,” she shared.

“Basta this year na ‘yan mangyayari, kaya abangan na lang nila,” Eugene added.

In the first film, Eugene has admitted that she indeed swam in a septic tank after accidentally falling while they were on the shoot.
Since she was already soaked inside the dirty tank, the crew took a few shots for the film for a realistic touch. Eugene ended up in a hospital after hurting her lumbar.
