POLICE are now searching for the desk officer of the Cordova Police Station who left his post Wednesday dawn bringing his issued firearm, a 9mm pistol, an M16 Armalite rifle and a government motorcycle.
PO2 Ryan Casiban, a resident of Barangay Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu City, left the Cordova Police Station at around 3 a.m. last Wednesday. He has not been seen since that time.

Casiban said a certain Atan Tajanlangit had allegedly threatened his life and was hunting him.
“Gi-hunting ko sa mga tawo ni Atan Tajanlangit, tabangi ko, sir, kay mo-surrender ko ni Duterte,” Casiban was quoted as having told Jabas.

It was later confirmed that it was the uniform of PO2 Ryan Casiban. The motorcycle and M16 rifle were the property of the Cordova Police Station.
